IS215UCVEH2AB (UCVE) is the core real-time main controller single board computer for GE Mark VI legacy VME turbine control systems, widely deployed in combined-cycle, thermal power plant gas/steam turbine simplex and triple redundant TMR control cabinets as the central computing core for all turbine protection, regulation and sequence logic.
Equipped with Intel Celeron 300MHz industrial high-speed processor and QNX hard real-time multitasking OS, it can execute up to 100,000 control logic blocks per second, completing high-precision closed-loop calculations for turbine speed, fuel control, exhaust temperature, generator excitation and load balance. 32MB DRAM operation memory and 16MB flash storage store control programs, real-time measurement data, fault waveform records and SOE event logs without relying on external hard disks.
Two independent front-panel Ethernet ports provide redundant TCP/IP communication links for uploading real-time data to plant SCADA and DCS systems, supporting Modbus TCP and GE proprietary control protocols. The RS232 serial port is reserved for local on-site program download, parameter calibration and fault debugging.
The board communicates with all DS200 series analog input/output, discrete I/O and protection boards via standard VME parallel backplane bus, real-time collecting field sensor signals and outputting control drive commands to actuators and auxiliary relays.
